In this video lesson, GM Igor Smirnov shares a super-aggressive chess opening for Black against 1.e4 that boasts a massive 82% win rate in the most played line. In fact, Black can secure a win in just 11 moves. This "evil" opening will make your opponents question their sanity and might even make them consider quitting chess. The opening starts with the Scandinavian Defense, but Black keeps sacrificing pawns: 1.e4 d5 2.exd5 c6 3.dxc6 Qc7. This is known as the Blackburne-Kloosterboer Gambit, and it will definitely surprise a lot of your opponents since less than 1% of games have been played with this opening. While it might appear that you're playing a reckless game by continuously giving up pawns, the reality is quite the opposite. This tricky gambit gives Black a huge initiative and excellent attacking opportunities right from the opening. If you're not inclined to play such a risky and aggressive gambit, you can opt for the relatively less risky and more solid Blackburne Gambit, where Black plays 3...Nxc6 instead. ▬▬▬▬▬▬ ► Chapters 00:00 Scandinavian Defense: Blackburne-Kloosterboer Gambit 00:30 82% Win Rate Trap for Black in the Mainline 01:55 Black wins in only 11 moves 03:31 If Black does not play hxg4 05:45 Less riskier Blackburne Gambit, 3...Nxc6 07:43 If White develops early Nc3 09:18 If White plays more solidly in the opening ► Follow RCA on social media Facebook: / remotechessacademy Instagram: / gm.igorsmirnov TikTok: / gmigorsmirnov X (Twitter): https://x.com/GMIgorSmirnov/ #IgorNation #ChessOpenings #ChessGambit #ChessTraps #OpeningTraps
