#chickenbiryani #hyderabadibiryani #nizamichickenbiryani #biryanirecipe #biryanilovers #bestbiryanirecipe #hyderabadichickenbiryani Ingredients : 🌟Chicken Marination •Chicken - 1.5kg •Ginger garlic paste - 2tbsp •Red chilli powder - 1tbsp •Coriander powder - 1tbsp •Green chillies/ Bay leaf/ star anise - 3-4no •Biryani Masala powder - 1tbsp •Lemon juice - 1/2 cup •Beaten yogurt - 1/2cup •Fenugreek leaves dried - 2tsp •Handful of chopped mint & coriander leaves •Kesari yellow colour- 1tsp •Fried brown onions - 5-6 medium thinly sliced & fried •Oil - 1 cup + salt to taste ⚠️Marinate the chicken overnight with the above ingredients 🌟Nizami Masala •Oil - 1 cup •Onions - 2no sliced •Whole Garam masala •Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp •Red chilli powder - 2tsp •Tomatoes chopped - 3 large •Coriander powder - 1 tsp • Fresh cream - 1/2 cup 🌟To Boil Rice • Basmati Rice - 1kg •1 Star anise/ 1 bay leaf/ 2 black cardamom/ 4 cloves/ 1 cinnamon stick/ 3 green cardamom •Green chilli - 3no • Salt to taste Boil water with the garam masala , add rice & cook until it’s 70-80% done. Drain the water & set aside 🌟Garnishing: •Ghee - 1tbsp •Saffron + milk - 1/2 cup •Fried onions •Fresh mint & coriander leaves Method: 1.Marinate chicken for 3-4 hours or overnight for more flavour with the ingredients mentioned above in the marination list 2. Heat oil with whole garam masala & fry onion until golden brown 3. Add ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder, coriander powder, mint leaves & chopped tomatoes 4. Once the tomatoes are cooked add fresh cream 5. Then add the marinated chicken & cook for 15 -20mins until the chicken is cooked 6. Heat charcoal to give a smoky flavour & keep aside 7. In a large pot, layer the Nizami chicken masala , partially cooked rice, ghee, mint leaves,fried onions, saffron mixture, coriander leaves & repeat the same layer again 8. Cover the pot & cook on low flame for 20 minutes 9.
