Emily (20 years old) was extremely anxious at the start of the session and also evident in the emails prior to the session. She was able to eat chips and some other carbs, so resorted to food shakes in order to get some basic nutrition. She developed SED at two years old as a result of an illness her whole family came down with on holiday, leading to her being hosptalised, and from then on she had an intense fear of vomiting.
