In this weeks truck vlog we get stopped by DVSA for a random check and found to be overweight with some Tachograph infringements,. Then it's off to London with a walking floor trailer full of scrap metal. This video is to highlight the vital role the DVSA play in keeping our roads safe. If it wasn't for this enforcement there wouldn't be fair competition in the haulage industry, drivers would be forced to work unregulated hours with poorly maintained trucks on our roads resulting in worse working conditions for us truck drivers. It also goes to prove that if you are polite and professional, even with minor offences they are fair and objective as long as there is evidence you are doing your best to work within the law.
