🐾 Bandit the Jack Russell is heading home! 🐾 After a 3-week residential training stay, 8-month-old Bandit is packing his bags — and yes… he’s grown a LOT 🤣 Bandit joined us as a bright, busy teenage Jack Russell who found it hard to switch off indoors (especially when he wasn’t the centre of attention 👀). During his stay, we focused on helping him slow down, make better choices, and cope with the world more calmly. ✨ What Bandit has been working on: ✔️ Settling calmly in the house — without stealing everything in reach ✔️ Walking nicely and settling quietly in town ✔️ Building recall skills (still a work in progress around BIG distractions — very normal at his age!) ✔️ Learning to relax even when nothing exciting is happening We also noticed Bandit is very body-sensitive, particularly around his harness and longline, which may be linked to gut and/or back discomfort. This can affect his ability to perform certain cues, so we’ve put together a clear, supportive plan to help him work through this going forward 💛 Overall, Bandit has been an absolute pleasure of a house guest — keen to try, clever, and full of character.
