Step 1: Gather Your Materials Before we get started, make sure you have all the materials you need: • Fabric for the top and skirt (choose soft and breathable fabrics for your baby’s comfort) • Scissors • Measuring tape • Pins • Sewing machine • Thread • Iron Step 2: Take Measurements Measure your baby’s chest, waist, and length from the shoulders to the desired length of the skirt. Use these measurements to cut out the fabric pieces for the top and skirt. Step 3: Cut the Fabric Using your measurements, cut out the fabric pieces for the halter neck top and the pleated skirt.
