The debut album 'This Is Your Life' was hailed by critics as the "missing link between Pink Floyd and Porcupine Tree" for its songs that harked back to a golden age of rock. But it was also Mike's musicianship which garnered their praise: “A winning blend of Meddle-era Pink Floyd, beguiling psych-folk and classic rock riffing. Mike Weston is an accomplished songwriter and musician who deserves a wider audience.“ wrote Joe Clay of The Times. Like Steven Wilson of Porcupine Tree, Mike wrote played and recorded all the Adult Cinema material on his own, only occasionally drafting in players for a handful of gigs. It was only when tracks from 'This Is Your Life' began cropping up on TV shows all over the world that he considered going back into the studio. The album found its way into the hands of numerous music supervisors and the tracks were being played on TV shows from Brasil to Finland and back to the USA. Encouraged by this new found attention Mike has pulled together all the tracks from the original album sessions and compiled a collection entitled 'Teaser Trailer (out now) and the remastered 'This Is Your Life' will be re-released in the Spring of 2018 then followed by a brand new studio album.
