This easy to make, delicious lavender lemonade recipe is sure to be a crowd pleaser, so it is perfect for a baby shower, bridal shower, DIY wedding, or any other DIY parties you may be hosting. Lavender has many health benefits too such as promoting relaxation, eases digestive issues, helps with insomnia, depression, migraine and many more. #lavender #lemonade #driedlavender --------------------------------------------------- I ❤ C[_] -------------------------------------------------- The Mugelicious Recipe for Lavender Lemonade Servings: 1-2 pitchers INGREDIENTS: Lavender syrup: 1 cup of filtered water 2 teaspoons of dried lavender (double if using fresh) 1 teaspoon of butterfly pea flower (optional for more intense colour) 3-7 mint leaves (mint leaves will release green colour, which with lemon and butterfly pea flower will give you purple one) 1/2 cup of sugar or other sweetener (if using honey, you might not get a beautiful colour) Lemonade: 1 cup of lemon juice 2 litres of filtered cooled down water lemon slices to pitcher and decor ice cubes fresh lavender (for decor) fresh mint leaves (for decor) INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Get roughly 1 cup of filtered water in your pot together with dried lavender, butterfly pea flower, fresh mint leaves and sugar. 2. Stir well and set the heat to medium. In the first few minutes you want to stir it often to help the sugar dissolve completely. When it’s starting to boil, you are going to let it simmer for 15 minutes on a very low heat. When it’s time, take it off the heat, strain it and let it cool down. 3. Squeeze more or less 2 lemons to obtain a cup of fresh lemon juice. Make sure you remove all the seeds, cos you don’t wanna have a seed situation later on. 4. Pour the lemon juice right to the pitcher together with filtered cooled water almost right to the top. It’s best to add herbal mixture last, so that you can control the colour of the lemonade that you want to obtain. I like to keep it very light in the main pitcher, so that everyone can make it stronger if they feel like it. If you have some herbal mixture left, you can keep it in fridge for the next day. 5. Add lemon slices and ice cubes to the pitcher. 6. For the individual glasses, I like to add additional herbal mixture first, so it goes on the bottom and creates really nice effect when you slowly pour in the lighter version of the lemonade. ---------------------------------------------------- I ❤ C[_] -------------------------------------------------- Don't ever miss any Mugelicious Recipes!
