Rebuild of #Evangelion - Beautiful World (Original Version) - #UtadaHikaru - [AMV] It took 11 years to finish this new theatrical version of Evangelion. Originally started as a series in 1995, the anime was very popular while it's also controversial, confusing, and polarizing. Particularly for the ending of the series. That's why they added another movie called The End of Evangelion back then to give more satisfactory ending. It does actually gave the better ending compared with the original ending. In 2009, they started to make a retelling version of the series divided in 4 movies. Started with: Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone (2007) , Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance (2009), Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo (2012), and ended with Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time (2021). The gap between the third and fourth movie is very long. It's very fortunate that I can see the final film after all these years. For those who hasn't seen the original series, these new version are more accessible and simpler than the series and served as a retelling of the original in the first 2 movies and continuing the story that was NOT in the original series in the next 2 movies. If you have more time and want to go deep in the world of Evangelion, you should try to see the series first and then continue to the 4 new movies. *For the series, you should see them in this order: Ep. 01-24: Original TV series (1995 - 1996) Ep. 25-26: The End of Evangelion (1997) I love the original series theme song 'A Cruel's Angel Thesis' by Yoko Takahashi. It's very iconic and has a very catchy tune. For the new movies, they chose Utada Hikaru to sing the new theme song called 'Beautiful World'. There are 3 versions of this song: Original version, Planitb Acoustica Remix, and Da Capo version. Since I covered all of 4 movies, I use the original version for this video. Thank you for watching.
