Ian Salmon moderated the session ‘Banking vs. Blockchain: How Will Stablecoins and Crypto Evolve?’ alongside Samuel Azzopardi, Gary Kalbaugh, Leonard Bonello, Michael Buhagiar and Clark Abrams, exploring the convergence of digital assets and traditional finance and exploring opportunities and challenges for innovation, efficiency and regulatory oversight. Iosif Itkin led the panel ‘Supervising Artificial Intelligence’ with Natacha Lord, Carlo Comporti, Dr. Keith Cortis, Zeynep Aydemir and Raquel de Julian Artajo de Julian Artajo, discussing AI supervision in financial services, including regulatory frameworks, governance and robustness of AI systems, third-party risks and practical approaches to responsible AI deployment.
