Fading Identity | Cyberpunk 2077 | Modular Ambient feat. Vhikk X, Manis Iteritas, Bassline, Hermod+

This project is both a sonic and visual tribute. Cyberpunk 2077 is a masterpiece in visual storytelling, and I’ve always wanted to merge its stunning, dystopian beauty with my modular synth work. I recorded footage from some of my favorite, most reflective spots in Night City and paired it with a live ambient performance from my Eurorack system. The patch focuses primarily on Vhikk X, running in diatonic-quantised mode to allow for live chord changes. The Erica Synths Bassline fills out the low end, while the lead voice comes from the Manis Iteritas firmware on the Noise Engineering Alia platform. Drums and FX are sampled and triggered via the Bitbox Micro. Everything is sequenced and modulated by Hermod+, with live mixing and effects running through the 1010music Bluebox. In post-production, I added sidechain compression to give the mix more movement. Thanks for watching. Ah... and I still haven't met Hanako at Embers.
