How to change your car's oil with a $20 12 volt DC 80 watt oil change pump. The brand I used was THINKWORK Oil Pump for Oil Change, 12V 80W Electric Oil Pump and Marine Oil Change Pump, Upgraded Oil Change Pump Extractor with Handle for Boat, Car, Motorcycle https://amzn.to/375aqI8 The only problem I had was once the small input tube gets soft from the warmed oil it bends easily and it is difficult to determine if the tube is sucking from the bottom. I used this pump on my old 94 Corolla and it took about ten minutes to remove 3.2 quarts but I was fiddling with the hose part of the time which slowed it down. I realize the pump will not remove as much oil as the normal way of changing oil but I am not allowed to work on my car at my condo. so this is a good alternative and since it is so simple to do I see myself doing another oil change in a few months with the pump to dilute out any old oil left behind from the first oil change even further.
