Vertipaq Analyser is one of the third-party tools of Power BI that seems to be being sidelined a bit now. However, in many ways, it is still one of the most important ones for you to learn. Vertipaq is the name of the Engine behind the scenes of Power BI, and the Vertipaq Analyser is a macro-enabled Excel spreadsheet that can read the metadata of your model and present it in a way that you can evaluate and assess. Any update work you do in the context of your Semantic Models should start by assessing the model. What challenges is it facing, and what requests are you dealing with? When all this is understood, an improvement plan can be considered, agreed upon, and implemented.
