#inshorefishing #Subscribe #trout A not so good of a start was really starting to eat at the back of my mind. I kept on grinding it out admit wind and waves and sought shelter from the waves where I could. Wanting to try something different I caught some live bait and fished a different area from where I have been catching nice trout with good numbers. The hours went by with a few nice trout to show for it and I started on my way home. I rounded the point and saw some birds diving (my saving grace for today). Even thought I had already made my closing for the video I stopped to check out what was going on. Good thing I did.Turns out there was some nice trout under them birds chasing shrimp. I started caching fish immediately. After a few cast and a lot of lady fish I figured out the pattern. Just let the bait drop after it hit the water. Caught a few under the birds with SEV7N BAITS WILLY WACKER and the rest on Matrix Mega Shad Ultra violet. The fish prior to the birds was caught on live bait and again the SEV7N BAITS WILLY WACKER. I used a reel and twitch of the rod retrieve prior to the birds as well. Water was dirty in some areas due to Pogies in the area and some areas were cleaner. Water depth was 2 to 4’ deep. So a not so great day of fishing turned out to be pretty darn good... much thanks to the Birds!
