The subject of this video is the Sony NW-ZX300: https://www.sony.com/electronics/walk... Not long after debut, I picked up this ZX300, used, from e-Earphone in Tokyo for a substantial discount. By and large, the ZX300 is a wonderfully designed DAP with great functionality and more than a few surprising and detail-oriented functional design perks, including weather resistant gaskets, side-aligned hardware UI buttons, a smart 'card style' graphical UI, and a solid new 4,4mm balanced connector. Unfortunately, Sony screw the pooch by requiring the use of a proprietary data port, and higher-than-average amp-noise, audible through the sort of high-end sensitive earphones you want to use with it.
