We are now at Retiro-Belgrano Station, which is located just down the street from Retiro-Mitre, which was seen in the previous video. Retiro-Belgrano serves the Belgrano Norte Line to Villa Rosa, and is a meter-gauge line, as opposed to the Mitre Line, which is 5-feet 6-inches wide broad gauge. Another thing is that the line is owned and operated by a company called Ferrovias. The Mitre Line is run by Trenes Argentino. Anyway, the trains that come in to Retiro-Belgrano are pulled by EMD G22 engines which were built in the early 1970's on 6-axle frames. When coming in to Retiro-Belgrano, the engines are short-hood forward. Then, the engine uncouples, moves forward a bit, and another engine which is standing by at the other end of the train couples on at the other end, long-hood forward, and will run the train the other way towards Villa Rosa. Then, the lite engine will run back to the other end of the station complex and will wait for the next inbound train, at which point the process will be repeated.
