This week we are headed to the largest municipality of Portugal by area, Odemira. Deeper in Alentejo than the places we have explored before, this market village is highly underrated in my opinion. You can have a meal near the river, enjoy a fresh drink there or just sit on a bench and watch the ducks. It's a great place to spend an afternoon. Just watch out in the summer for the hot temperatures, as it can reach easily 40ºC in the sun at the warmest hours.
