The last firmware update was done in 2015. My question is: Is there anyone out there having the glitchy same experience with the 7Q and has found a work-around with this recorder? The previous firmware was painful to work with. The present firmware was able to detect the specs of the video output and change automatically. The previous firmware could not make the detection and change parameters automatically. And one had to navigate through the many presets manually. However, the more time I have on the recorder and DIT, the footage improved incredibly.
