In mid 2018 archaeologists made an astonishing find in Alexandria, Egypt – a huge black sarcophagus – at the same time anonymously looking, but huge and apparently the last resting place for some important person. But who? This is the story of the mysterious black sarcophagus. Ancient History makes illustrated short documentaries about the history of the ancient world – from the beginning of civilization to the fall of western Rome.
