He currently owns seventy two doors of rental real estate and with all of his experience, this was his first full, start to finish eviction. In this video Chandler talks about some of the mistakes that were made that led to this eviction. He also goes into detail about all of the things he would do different if he had the chance to do it all over again. After sharing what he learned, Chandler shows the video of what the property looked like right after the tenants were evicted. In this segment, Chandler points out holes in the wall, the destroyed carpet, the torn up kitchen, and a laundry list of other damages. Chandler then talks about the expense of getting the unit fixed up and rent ready. He explains the importance of taking pride in the renovation. Chandler explain that you need to get the property to look up to the right quality so that you can find tenants that will treat it accordingly. If you do not get the property up to par, you will end up with more tenants that will treat the property like garbage. This video definitely shows the worst case scenario of dealing with rental properties, but Chandler makes sure to clarify that even with these negatives, rental properties are still more than worth the investment.
