Chasing Speckled Trout in the middle of Summer is usually feast or famine for me. Seems like I'm either bending the rod every cast or not catching anything but a sunburn. Today started off looking like one of the bad kind, but I stuck it out and kept moving until the puzzle was solved. By the end of the trip, the action picked up substantially and made me glad I didn't give up too early.
