Replacing A Trailer Tire at HOME with NO Special Tools !!

In this video, I show you how to replace a small tire on the rim, at home, using no special tools. All you need is a couple of screwdrivers, maybe a claw hammer, and it's not a bad idea to get a kit for $10-$12 to replace the valve stem "while we're there". It does require a bit of muscle, but not that much overall. Knowing where to pull or push or pry is most of the battle. A cheap rachet strap is also helpful, but if you don't have one, take an extension cord or piece of rope, and a stick. Twist the stick in the rope like a tourniquet and tape it in place or just have someone help hold it, or lay the tire down on it's side so the stick can't turn. It's way less expensive that paying someone to do it, and if you are in the countryside where a tire place is a good drive, it's a lot less time too.
