Sample Answer: Actually my cousins run a restaurant. It’s a family-run business that the older brother set up. When they started out about 10 years ago, there was some competition but it certainly wasn’t a saturated market. So they kind of found a niche by specialising in authentic Asian cuisine coming from his hometown. Initially, they struggled to stand out from their competitors, even though they had this nice authentic cuisine, and the brand of authenticity, and also even though he was a fully trained chef. It was hard at the beginning because they were on a shoestring budget, and they were trying to keep costs low. But eventually their reputations spread by word of mouth, and more customers came. Taking about the customers I think they attract middle class clientele, people with money, people who have probably traveled and are looking for something new to try. I really admire my cousin you know. He has a lot of drive, he works long hours, he has stuck at it for years. Although it started out really challenging, he’s built a client base, he’s built a lot of trust. And the business has really come through, it has taken off and I am very pleased for him.
