The newly renovated Capital Suite of the Grand Hyatt Jakarta. While the bones of the 30-year hotel may be old, the only thing you feel upon entering the property is its vibrancy tempered by nuanced Japanese-inspired aesthetics. A great club lounge with impressive food and alcohol offerings, and a convenient location only add to this hotel’s value. Its close proximity to a couple of the most well known malls of Jakarta, paired with a view of one of its most well known monuments, make this an easy stay to recommend. Their suites, though on the smaller side, are very well designed, furnished and laid out. This property was a joy to stay at as I had zero expectations and was constantly pleasantly surprised. I hope if in the future if you are fortunate enough to stay here that you will have a similar experience.
