So apparently, according to what people say, I seem to run into hackers a lot during Battle Mode, but when I do regular races, I can somehow avoid the hackers just fine. Yet another hacker-free room from here! This game isn't quite as popular as it used to be. Its popularity has faded faster than that of Mario Kart DS. Race #1 GBA Bowser Castle 3 Some people say they find this course a lot, but not for me. I don't really find myself on Bowser Castle 3 very often. I most often play on Luigi Circuit, Maple Treeway, SNES Mario Circuit 3, and Rainbow Road. And to a smaller extent, GBA Shy Guy Beach, DS Delfino Square, and N64 DK's Jungle Parkway. I'm sure with some of these, people have an agenda because of the extreme advantage some vehicles get. In this race: I'm not very good at doing the Wii Wheel motions during a turn. Is it me, or is the Wii Wheel not as responsive when it's not in the neutral position? Or am I just doing it wrong? And towards the end was an interesting exchange of a Lightning Cloud. Race #2 N64 Mario Raceway Oh yeah, this would probably be in the top half of my most frequently seen courses too. I find myself on these plain, largely obstacle-free courses from the beginning of the game a lot. And plain, largely-obstacle-free courses from the end of the game. And Retro Cup courses with long straightaways the bike users seem to select when they see they're being beaten by a kart user. At this point, the room is starting to turn against me, and it's a sign that I ought to leave soon. It's not like I'm taking 1st place all the time and rousing envy from the other members though. I accidentally let go of a Green Shell too early, causing me to get hit by a Red Shell. I wonder how I would've placed had I not make that mistake. Race #3 GCN DK Mountain I messed up on the shortcut on the first lap...though I did manage to do it correctly on the other ones. There were some pretty huge gaps towards the front of the race, so much so that when I made my way back into 4th place, even a Bullet Bill didn't allow me to gain any positions--just to catch up. It was still useful though. Someone got disconnected right at the end (or did so voluntarily, I don't know), causing me to get 1st place at the end of this race.
