Sokobanja Ripaljka Lepterija

Lepterija is the most visited and well-known Sokobanja picnic area. It can be reached by asphalt or landscaped forest paths. Walking to Lepteri leads through beautiful landscapes that abound with greenery. On this path is the restaurant "Pećina", the current "Marko Polo", located beneath a wall on the bank of the river Moravica, an ideal place for lunch in the nature or a coffee break during a walk. On the excursion site, which is also next to the river, there is a part with summerhouses and benches, as well as a place where barbecue and other specialties can be made. Ripaljka, one of the largest and most beautiful waterfalls in Serbia, is located about 200 meters from the resort of Grudno. This waterfall is of an accumulative type and protected by law in 1948. It is located directly on the hill of the Gradašnica River. The waterfall was named after the fact that in this region often instead of jumping it says ripati. Cretaceous sections of Ripaljka are coated with a thick crust of hardened bigar. There is a small Ripalja, next to the lake on the Grudno excursion, which has a water drop of 9 m and a large Ripaljka with a water drop of 17, 5 m.
