Katrina devastated Six Flags New Orleans Abandoned Park New Orleans under water levee breaks abandoned August 29, 2005 Now that time, along with legal issues ect have long past. Aniversary of Katrina aproaching. I decided to display these photos publicly. Some have been viewed privately by park and coaster enthusiast. The thing with these photos is, I actually belonged there, and let those in that were allowed, and kept those out who were not. Basically I took on Security in my last days working the park. Another thing you will notice is the lack of vandalism and tagging as these are taken not long after we were able to enter the park. Unfortunately trespassers, vandals and some urban explorers tend to just make more destruction of the already devastated park.
