#DifferentialGrowth #SVerchok #algorithm In this episode I am testing out Blender addon called "Differential Growth" from Boris Okunskiy. The addon unlocks a differential growth algorithm for your Blender, so that you are able to generate unusual 3D wavy mesh fabric patterns that often occurs in nature such as on flowers or fungi, etc. There are a few settings and parameters that you need to experiment with, but so far I am just using the default. The procedure: I started with SV nodes to generate the mesh and procedurally generate weight can work together with Differential Growth addon. My example is basic, but this addon is quite powerful and might be a good start to generate a more intricate design pattern. You could also try using Geometry Nodes to generate mesh and weight for Differential Growth. But be aware that it might clash with the add, you might need to apply the modifier before this could work.
