Biminini is the closest island of the Bahamas 🇧🇸 to the US 🇺🇸. It was only a 2 hours ferry ride away from Fort Lauderdale (less than an hour by plane). Decided last minute to go so seaplane seats were booked out. We opted to get economy premium tickets and thought paying a little extra was worth it. You get to embark and disembark the ship first plus you get packaged snacks and beverage. We docked at 11AM but really didn’t get off until around noon because we have to wait for customs clearance. Picked up by a tram. Daytrippersget off first. 1st stop: Hilton Resorts World / Bay Beach Club 2nd stop: Marina where you can shop and rent golf carts Decided to not get stuck in a resort since we’re only there for a day. Rented a golf cart and explored the island. It was ~5 miles roundtrip from the marina down to the shipwreck. Roads are narrow and you drive on the left side of the road. Here are the stops we did: 1 - Big John’s for lunch 2 - Shipwreck 3 - Radio Beach 4 - Alice Town for shopping 5 - Nate’s Bimini Bread 6 - Bailey Town 7 - Stuart’s Conch Stand 8 - back at the Marina by 5pm Comment below for any questions you have!
