[🗓️ 01/02/2026] These are the Schindler lifts at a brand-new 5-star boutique hotel in the Tun Razak Exchange (TRX) area, and are the first to film by a lift enthusiast. This hotel is the first Kimpton property to open in Malaysia and is part of the IHG hotel chain and LQ Retail Sdn Bhd. While the name "Naluria" is a combination of the Malay words "naluri" (instinct) and "ria" (joy). Opened in December 2025, it has 26 floors with 466 rooms and suites occupying levels 4-24, and is connected by the second floor of The Exchange TRX shopping mall below and a three-level carpark that is shared with the office building next door. The ground floor is the arrival lobby and Rise & Grind cafe, while the reception is at level 1, known as the Living Room. The Connection Hub (meeting rooms) is located at level 2, Tuai + Till (an all-day dining restaurant) at level 3, Sabato's (an Italian restaurant) at level 25, and level 26 features a swimming pool, gym, and a rooftop bar called Four Siblings. The hotel had seven lifts consisting of five passenger lifts and two service lifts. The five lifts shown here serve all floors from ground to 26, while two of them also serve the mall's second floor (known as "R2"), which have rear entrances opens at that floor with elongated cabs and larger capacity—they can be found at MPH Bookstore located at the mall's second floor and turn right which leads to the hotel lifts. These are Schindler 5500 installed in 2022, with Everbright EB2003-RBL(C) buttons, an LCD screen that displays about the hotel itself and floor indicators, Linea 300 dot-matrix hall indicators, and FI GS 700 call buttons used on level R2 landing. Their cabs are a combination of bas-relief, ginkgo-leaf sculptural tiles, light-wood walls, deep brushed bronze finish with leather-wrapped handrails and sandy-speckling flooring. The top floor 26 is accessible without a keycard, and these lifts ran at 2.5 m/s which is a slow speed travelling 27-28 floors (100-107 meters), while the ride itself was really smooth. 📸 Shot and edited using iPhone 12 Pro at 4K 60 FPS, with HDR and Dolby Vision. #schindlerelevator #kimptonnaluriakl ©️ 2022-2026 IT Productions 💻 Follow on Instagram: / it51608 ⚠️ Filming is not a crime, especially lifts! 🚫 Reusing or reuploading contents are prohibited without permission. 🛗 Information • Manufacturer: Schindler Elevator (China) Co.
