In a horrifying incident reminiscent of the series of Cow vigilantism episodes, a man was beaten up mercilessly by a mob on suspicion of carrying ‘Beef’. The incident took place in Gurugram adjacent to Delhi on Friday morning. The chilling video of the incident which has surfaced on the internet shows a mob surrounding the man who is sitting on the ground partly unconscious and being beaten with a hammer. As per the reports, the man has had a skull fracture and is in hospital. His condition is stable but he remains critical.
