She was awarded Gold Medal in her final DNB examination. After DNB she joined Patel Superspeciality Hospital and helped in commissioning the Department of Radiotherapy. She is a member of Association of Radiation Oncologists of India (AROI), Indian Medical Association (IMA), Federation of Obstetrics and Gynecological Society of India (FOGSI). She was awarded Nucleotreon, AROI fellowship for advanced training in radiotherapy in 2007. She underwent training at Tennesse Cancer Center, Memphis (USA). Currently she heads the department of radiotherapy at Patel Hospital, which practices 3D Conformal Radio therapy, (3DCRT), IMRT, IGRT, SRT and all advanced radiation techniques also with conventional brachytherapy.
