🌟 From a Day to a Movement: Celebrating Women’s Leadership During International Women’s Month 2025 🌟 Inspired by International Women’s Day on March 8th - the annual one-day celebration of women's economic, social, economic and political achievements have spilled over at Invest Ottawa, and grown to become International Women's Month. Each year, Invest Ottawa joins forces with visionary leaders and organizations for a series of events aimed to inspire, equip, and empower current and future women leaders across every sector and stage of life. In 2025, #IWM2025 mobilized the community of individuals and organizations to deliver over 25 impact-driven events throughout March. From powerful keynotes to hands-on workshops, the month sparked bold ideas, authentic connection, and sustainable change. Over 1,500 people registered for the four dynamic events hosted at Bayview Yards, over half (50.3%) were small business owners, and 85% of registrants identified as women, indicating that these events continue to support female founders. 🎉 Take a moment to reflect on the energy, collaboration, and impact made possible through International Women’s Month 2025. ##IWM2025 #AccelerateAction
