Pt with Terrien's Marginal Degeneration a marginal thinning of the cornea. This is an interesting case of a 44-year-old man who presented to our clinic, with progressively worsening of vision in the right eye only, this was painless and had happened gradually over a few years. Examination showed marginal thinning of superior cornea, with lipid deposition on the central edge of the thinned area. There was a fine pannus peripherally, and no evidence of an epithelial defect. Corneal topography showed marketed against the rule astigmatism, at approximately 90° to the area of most thinning of the cornea. These findings are consistent with Terrien's Marginal Degeneration of the cornea. The differential diagnosis includes: pellucid marginal degeneration, furrow degeneration, corneal melt, infectious corneal ulcer, Mooren's ulcer, dellen, keratoscleritis.
