Today I’m taking you behind the scenes at Rapids Family Health on a busy new patient day. We saw a lot of chronic pain—especially osteoarthritis. I worked with patients to develop customized plans using non-impairing CBD and CBG formulations, plus topical treatments for joint pain in the hands and feet. One case that stood out was postherpetic neuralgia (pain following shingles), which responded well to topicals. We also had a couple of dementia consultations, where we’re using a blend of THC and CBD to help manage behaviors like agitation and calling out—without the risks associated with antipsychotics.
