American pro eater Randy Santel versus Tamarind's undefeated "Pho King Boss" Vietnamese Pho Noodle Soup Challenge hosted by Tamarind - Vietnamese & Phở Kitchen in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah!! I flew to Salt Lake City, Utah to see my friend and video editor ‪@natefiggs‬ who lives in Brigham which is north of Salt Lake City!! While there, I attempted five huge and delicious man vs food restaurant eating challenges around the SLC metro area. For food challenge #4 of those five, I headed to Tamarind in downtown Salt Lake City so I could attempt their unbeaten "Pho King Boss" Vietnamese Pho Challenge!! Many people had tried to finish everything within the one hour time limit (60 minutes), but nobody had been able to successfully complete the challenge. The Vietnamese food challenge features four pounds of Vietnamese rice noodles served with 1/2 pound portions of meatballs and beef brisket, plus some healthy Asian vegetables. The massive bowl of pho is equal to about five normal-sized portions of their pho noodle soup options on the menu. The broth is not required, but I was trying to finish all of the broth too just to leave no doubt!! I was trying to become the first person to win my $50 supersized bowl of pho free plus $200 cash and a spot on the "Pho King Boss" section of their Wall of Fame & Shame!!
