This one's for the beginners! When I was starting out, I would constantly check the QuickShow wiki and Pangolin's tutorial videos to find any hidden information that would improve my programming. I created this video for the beginner me. It's a bit longer than I expected but it contains all the information and tips I wish I knew when I was starting out. I hope it helps! Missed Points: • If you experience strobing on the laser, try reducing points per beam first! Then point count or size. • Color effects. Totally missed it. Make sure they're placed in the 'correct' order in your effect list. A size or position effect will change the way your cue interacts with color effects. Move the color effect above to retain the whole color effect at all times. Move it below to have the cue take on position-based colors. • In key effects, 'Enable auto-keying' will automatically create a keyframe when you change the associated value. I always have this on.
