Chicago Blackhawks – Tradition On Ice (1989/1990) | Blockbuster Video Exclusive VHS RIP.

I found this rare Chicago Blackhawks VHS at a thrift and decided to preserve and share it. Growing up around Chicago hockey culture, I always loved the history and tradition surrounding the team, so seeing something like this from the Blockbuster Video era felt like a little time capsule worth saving. “Tradition On Ice” is a promotional Blackhawks feature that was distributed through Blockbuster Video during the early 1990s. Tapes like this often included team history, highlights, and footage from the Chicago Stadium years that many fans may not have seen in decades. I transferred this VHS from my personal copy so that the footage can continue to exist online for hockey fans and historians who appreciate classic NHL material.
