From FTB Unstable to FTB Skies to even the Direwolf20 modpack and StoneBlock 3, you can install every single Feed The Beast modpack using the FTB App. So, without anymore delay, here is how to download and install the Feed The Beast App to get FTB modpacks for Minecraft! First things first, you will need to download the FTB App. You can find a link to the Feed The Beast App in the description above. Once you are there, click the “Download for Windows” button. It is worth noting that the FTB App is built on Overwolf. This means that Overwolf will be installed in addition to the Feed The Beast Launcher in the next step. With FTB downloaded, double-click on the file you downloaded and go through the download process. It is similar to any other app. Again, it is completely normal for Feed The Beast to install Overwolf as well. Once you have the FTB App opened, you will be able to click “Home” on the left-hand side to see the featured Feed The Beast modpacks. You can also click the browse button to see more FTB modpacks and search for modpacks a the top. After you have found a Feed The Beast modpack you want to install, click the green download button on the pack you want. Confirm the version you want and click the “Install” button. Your Feed The Beast modpack will start installing! This may take some time as FTB modpacks are decently large modpacks usually. When your modpack has finished downloading and installing, you see a “Go to Instance” button. There, you will see a “Play” button that will launch the pack. You may need to login to your Minecraft account. This is completely safe, and you will use the same Minecraft account that you use for the normal Minecraft Launcher. At this point, your FTB modpack will launch. You may need to add more RAM to the modpack. This can be done by going back to the modpack you installed and click on the “Settings” button in the top right. Here, you can add more RAM change your screen size and more.
