Good design engineers are able to quickly and accurately see virtual or physical objects and mentally unite or add them making a single object. Likewise they should be able to take two virtual objects, and if overlapping, mentally preform a subtraction and be able to predict the resulting single object. The same should be true of the Intersect Boolean operation. The skill of knowing what results from Boolean operations comes from practice. This video clip illustrates how to practice Boolean additions, subtractions and intersections.
