Morges is a town on Lake Geneva in Switzerland with a poulation of 15.000. Travel time to Lausanne with Interregio train is 12 minutes. With Intercity train you need 29 minutes to Geneva. Morges was first mentioned in documents in the year 1288. The Morges Castle is the main attraction of the city. It is situated near the harbour. You can find several museums in the castle. I recommend to visit these two streets in the old town: Rue Louis de Savoie and Grand-Rue. The Quai Igor Strawinsky is on the shores of Lake Geneva. From july to october you can visit here the dahlia festival. The City Hall is in the historic centre of Morges. Audrie Hepburn married here Andrea Dotti in 1969. A selection of hotels in Morges: Couronne, Mont-Blanc au Lac, Maison d'Igor, Le Petit Manoir.
