July 28, 2024 - Another adventure is upon us - we're heading back to South America! This time, to mitigate travel costs, we're spending a 24 hour layover on the way down - so we're going to Miami. (Welcome to Miami!) Flying diagonally across the entire contiguous United States took about 5.5 hours, not bad at all. Can you count all the states we flew over? After taking off on a beautiful Vancouver morning, looking out the window became difficult from the Cascade Mountains until Arkansas/Memphis. We had some great views of Florida's Gulf Coast, including the Tampa Bay region, before crossing the Everglades on our final approach into Miami.
