Beauty and the Beast Video game. Sora, Donald, and Goofy find themselves in Beast's Castle and notice a strange shadow move across the floor and disappear into an open door. The group follows the shadow into Beast's bed chamber and Donald is drawn towards a magical rose in a bell jar but is interrupted when Heartless appear and surrounds the group. Beast then enters the room and quickly defeats the Heartless, collects the rose, pushing Sora, Donald and Goofy aside in the process. After exploring more of the castle, the group finds Belle who is extremely pleased to see them, and asks them to help find her friends Lumière, Cogsworth, Mrs. Potts, and Chip. Upon finding the lost friends Sora learns that a spell was put upon the castle and its inhabitants by an enchantress, turning the Prince into a beast and the others into a clock, a candle holder, a teapot, and a teacup. Joining forces, the group later finds Beast in a jealous rage, convinced Belle and the castle's inhabitants are working against him. After Beast calms down Cogsworth and Donald cautiously explain that it is actually Beast who is at fault. Realizing his anger has been controlling his actions Best tries to reconcile things with Belle. Just when things begin to return to normal Beast’s rose is stolen and he begins to tear the castle apart looking for it, not noticing that Belle has been kidnapped. Upon realizing Beast races to rescue her, but it is, in fact, Belle who repels the kidnapper and returns the rose to Beast, at which point Beast realizes Belle is more precious to him than any object. Kingdom Hearts 2 is a third-person action role-playing game published by Square Enix for the PlayStation 2.
