Jubilee Hills Public School, Hyderabad celebrated Vanmahotsav, an annual tree-planting festival on 12th July, 2024. This event, aimed at inculcating the value of preserving our environment, was celebrated through a special assembly. A thought-provoking speech on the role of trees in maintaining ecological balance and combating climate change, enlightened the young minds. A lively and vibrant dance by the Pre-primary and Primary students set the mood for the celebrations. This was followed by a melodious rendition on the importance of flora and fauna, by the students of the Classes VI -VIII. Tree plantation drive was also conducted wherein NCC Cadets actively participated in planting saplings, thus ensuring a greener and healthier environment for future generations. The event concluded with a pledge where students promised to continue their efforts in protecting and nurturing the environment. The school community has vowed to carry forward the spirit of this festival and contribute to a greener and sustainable future.
