This time on American Viscountess, I visit Berkeley Castle in Gloucestershire – a castle steeped in Royal history and intrigue. This castle has been visited by 10 monarchs – including King Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn in 1535. I’ll be getting a birds eye view of the history of the castle and delving into the archives to see documents which date back nearly 1000 years. I’ll also be meeting Mrs Georgina Berkeley in her private apartments at the Castle – a place she has called home for over 50 years.
