Here we will be tying the controversial "fly" Squirmy Wormy on a jig hook. Many anglers don't even recognise this one as a fly at all. However the Squirmy is made out of the very flexible Squirmy material and it's very much alive in the water. Then red or pink colour of it remind a bit to normal worms when it gets in the water so I personally don't blame anglers who use it. But I wouldn't either fish with angler who are solely using this pattern. It's a little tricky to tie it as shown in the video but I think most tyers will manage it at the end. The Squirmy catches both brown trout, seatrout, salmon and arctic char here in Iceland. Probably more fish species where they are to be found. I'm personally no fan of this lure, but it's been requested quite a few time by my viewers, so here it is at last. Pattern Author: ? Hook: Ahrex FW554 #12 Thread: Semperfli Nano Silk 100D red.
