Today you join us as we wake up on our final morning in Xi'an, Jump on the high speed rail and land in Chengdu! From there we decide to leave our bags at the station and head out to the city of Leshan to go and see the Worlds Largest Buddha. This Buddha is seriously impressive! Standing just over 153m (502 feet) tall, this absolute giant was carved into the side of a cliff face overlooking the river. This place is special and highly celebrated by the Chinese people as the birthplace of Buddhism in China. We spent the day taking in the zen of the whole site before racing back to the station to get our train home for the evening.
