With style and a Japanese combat flair, the SOG Kikus offer a lot for the money. All models are discussed in the video. The impressive large folder is combat ready it seems and inspires confidence. It's gratifying to see another mfr besides Cold Steel making a knife like this. The smaller folder is actually not that small, on part with many other "tactical blades." Both feature outstanding speed, quality, lockup, clips, and looks. The Matsuda grind in the blade is a penetrator, is strong, and offers accelerating cutting in many materials. Steel is SOG AUS 8. Weight is substantial for the large, pretty good for the smaller version. Also covered are the Kiku fixed blades with their thick .20 blades, superior strength, and excellent Kydex sheaths. Value is excellent for the prices stated (preliminary).
