Back In Time 23 Years To 2002 Hot Import Nights Chicago | Walkaround Of The Entire Show

In this video, we are going to do another throwback to 23 years ago of the publishing date and look at the 2002 Hot Import Nights Show held in Chicago, IL at the McCormick Center on June 29, 2002. If you read the description of my last throwback Hot Import Nights video, you saw that this was my favorite show circuit back then. I loved the mix of a sort of nightclub setting intertwined with a car show. That and the import/tuner scene in Chicago was much larger than what we had back home so it was always exciting to see the quality of cars these shows had. This was back before having the nice tech or even digital video, so this was filmed on a JVC GR-DVL310OU MiniDV camcorder which was a smaller tape.... yep tape. There was no stabilization on the cameras back then so.... yeah the video is a bit jumpy. Like the last throwback video, I assembled this video into 2 sections. This first part is a walkaround of the entire show so I got a good amount of video. The second part is a slideshow of the photos I took which is clearer than the video given the limitations of the tech we had back then.
