This costs $5800 (may increase in subsequent years, details at https://www.mealplan.uwo.ca/student_c..., which includes a $3100 overhead fee which is to maintain the facility, pay the staff etc. The rest of the money ($2700) goes towards your actual mealplan which is the money you can spend on food. You pay with your OneCard (student card), and you get 50% off at all dining halls at Western (makes sense, because they are charging that ridiculous overhead). You can dine at any time at which the dining halls are open, more info on dining hours can be found at https://rezdining.uwo.ca/hoursoperati... . If you are running low on mealplan dollars, then you can always top up your mealplan at https://mealplan.uwo.ca/topup/index.c... . Note: food is not cheap here, even for convenience's sake.
